•    Maintenance of Steel Melt Shop LF/VD/CC section which includes Ladle furnace, Vessel Car, Vacuum Degassing system & Complete Caster unit along with auxiliary equipments like Transfer car, Boilers, Ferro alloy system and water complex system.
•     Preventive & Breakdown maintenance activity.
•    Planning & Indent of Spares for Critical / Non Critical equipments & procurement action.
•    Follow up with purchase for timely delivery of indented spares.
•    To implement energy conservation initiatives.
•    Reconditioning of the equipments.
•    Documentation of Equipment related records, History card, and Critical spare list.
•    Trouble shooting & RCA of equipment breakdown with action plan.
•    Work allotment for technician & contract manpower.
•    To monitor the regular jobs of technicians & Contract job allotted.
•    Well Conversant with factory safety Rules & Regulations.
•    Alternative thinking/Kaizens for repetitive problems.
